Construction Superintendent

Job Description

Manage daily field operations for assigned construction projects.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
Enforce company safety standards and OSHA compliance requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control.
Collaborate with Project Managers to track progress, budgets, and resources.
Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
Lead jobsite meetings and communicate updates to key stakeholders.
Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize project delays.
Maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation.
Ensure all work is performed according to plans, specifications, and company standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Building and Construction Superintendent should have:

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
Proven track record managing projects from groundbreaking through completion.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and building systems.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Familiarity with project management and construction software.
Deep understanding of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
