Job Description

  • Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules.
  • Manage project safety programs and enforce company safety standards.
  • Conduct progress meetings and communicate updates to project stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the construction process.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Identify and proactively resolve field issues to minimize schedule impacts and cost overruns.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent K-12 should have:

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
  • Strong background delivering K-12, Higher Education, or institutional projects.
  • Experience managing projects valued at $15 million or greater.
  • Thorough understanding of scheduling, quality control, and jobsite safety.
  • Ability to lead subcontractors and field teams in a collaborative manner.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of construction management software and project scheduling tools.
  • OSHA safety training and a commitment to maintaining safe jobsites.
