Industrial Construction Site Manager

Job Description

  • Take ownership of day-to-day field operations from mobilization through project completion.
  • Lead subcontractors, vendors and field personnel while maintaining schedule, quality and safety expectations.
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers, architects, engineers, owners and trade partners.
  • Build and maintain project schedules while proactively identifying and resolving issues before they become problems.
  • Review drawings, specifications and construction documents to ensure work is being executed correctly.
  • Maintain a strong jobsite culture focused on safety, accountability, quality and teamwork.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience, with Superintendent or Lead Superintendent experience preferred.
  • Strong experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades on active construction sites.
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret drawings, specifications and project schedules.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to command a jobsite while building strong relationships.
  • A self-starter who thrives with autonomy, accountability and decision-making authority.
