Job Description
The responsibilities of an Assistant Superintendent:
- Assist in the day-to-day field operations of a large multifamily ground-up construction project
- Coordinate and oversee assigned scopes of work from start through completion
- Manage subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential schedule or construction issues
- Lead a designated area of the project with increasing autonomy and responsibility
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Superintendent, Project Management team, and trade partners
- Support project scheduling, inspections, quality control, and punch list activities
- Maintain site safety standards and help ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
- Utilize Procore and MS Project to assist with project tracking and documentation
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on assigned scopes

The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Superintendent should have:
- 6+ years of construction experience
- Ground-up multifamily or hotel construction experience required
- Experience with both concrete podium and wood-frame construction required
- Ability to independently manage a project phase or major trade scope
- Strong understanding of all phases of commercial construction
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and field operations
- Proficiency with Procore and/or MS Project preferred
- OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required
- Open to local candidates and qualified travelers

- Base Salary: $115,000 - $140,000
- Project Bonus: Approximately $15,000
- Vehicle Allowance: $500-$750/month
