    Position Summary/Objective

    One of the Mid-Atlantic's most trusted and recognized residential estate builders is looking to add a experienced Superintendent to their team. The Superintendent will be responsible for the management of the construction process, overseeing all on-site construction activities, the coordination of vendors, as well as additional construction related duties
    Responsibilities will include:
    • Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
    • Allocate resources for assigned projects
    • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
    • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
    • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
    • Understand the project plans and specifications prior to any scheduled work performed.
    • Manage and transmit all job site documentation
    • Maintain positive relationships with all clients, subcontractors, suppliers and other employees.
    • Proactively identify and solve problems.
    • Supervise total on-site effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, schedule, safety and quality.

    Qualifications
    • Previous experience as a superintendent on estate sized homes greater than $10 million dollars
    • Must be able to commute to the DC region on a daily basis
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Google Drive, Sheets and Docs, BuilderTrend, or other construction software; must have strong technology and computer/internet skills, and file management
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines with a high level of integrity and confidentiality require
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to provide a high level of customer service
