We’re seeking an experienced Superintendent who thrives in a collaborative, jobsite‑based environment and enjoys leading work from the ground up. In this role, you will lead the field execution of complex, mission-critical data center construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing daily construction operations, driving schedule performance, and ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. A significant focus of this position will be overseeing electrical infrastructure, commissioning activities, and specialty systems critical to data center operations, including power distribution, backup power, low-voltage systems, communications infrastructure, security, fire alarm, controls, and other mission-critical building systems. Working closely with project management teams, trade partners, engineers, and clients, you will proactively identify risks, resolve field challenges, and ensure seamless integration of these highly technical systems throughout the project lifecycle.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

What You Bring
  • Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field preferred. A combination of education and relevant construction experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Seven or more years of commercial or industrial construction experience, including at least three years of experience leading or supporting data center construction projects in a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Foreman, or similar field leadership role.

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and overseeing mission-critical electrical and specialty systems, including medium- and low-voltage systems, power distribution, backup power, communications infrastructure, security systems, controls, fire alarm systems, and commissioning activities.

  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, logistics planning, and trade coordination on complex projects, with the ability to proactively identify and resolve field challenges.

  • Proven ability to lead subcontractors and craft professionals while maintaining accountability for safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance.

  • Working knowledge of MEP systems, integrated building systems, and commissioning processes within mission-critical environments.

  • Experience operating in active or highly sensitive facilities where uptime, reliability, and zero-defect turnover are critical to project success.

  • Strong commitment to safety and a demonstrated ability to foster a positive, safety-first culture consistent with Boldt's values and expectations.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, trade partners, clients, designers, and commissioning stakeholders.

  • Ability and willingness to travel or relocate for project assignments as business needs require.

Nice to Have
  • Basic experience with data center commissioning processes (Level 1–5).
  • Ability to work in dynamic and fluid environments with operational constraints and change control requirements.
  • Strong focus on documentation rigor, QA/QC, and turnover excellence.
