Superintendent

Nationally recognized real estate developer, general contractor, and property management firm - over 30 years of experience - is looking for a Superintendent to join their team! Urgent need for an ongoing project in New Haven, CT. This smaller regional construction team is in a pivotal growth-oriented phase - collaborative culture where comradery, work-life balance, & a people-first approach remain central to operations.

The Super is responsible for:

  • Taking a strategic role in preconstruction, constructability reviews and risk assessments.
  • Proactively identifying and strategically solving problems with minimal executive oversight.
  • Maintaining compliance with construction codes, and safety and government regulations.
  • Upholding the project schedule and supporting the control of costs; and reporting overall status to stakeholders.
  • Directing a diverse group of internal and external team members, including subcontractors.
  • Building strong relationships with clients/owners, subcontractors and inspection authorities.
  • Ensuring all onsite operations are conducted safely, on-time, on-budget and to our quality standards

The right Super will have:

  • 7+ years of experience managing onsite construction operations.
  • MUST have Large Multifamily Project Experience
  • Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficient with standard construction software- P6, Procore, Etc.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction management/related field

The Super will receive:

  • Competitive Base Salary: $130K - $170K (commensurate with experience)
  • SIGN-ON BONUS = $10,000
  • 20 days PTO + Paid Holidays
