Mid-Sized General Contractor Superintendent

Our client is a well-established mid-sized general contractor specializing in commercial interiors projects across NYC. Job Description

Manage all day-to-day site operations from mobilization through project completion
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
Drive project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site
Conduct quality control inspections and oversee punch list completion
Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, architects, and design teams
Resolve field issues quickly to keep projects moving forward

The Successful Applicant

A successful superintendent should have:

Proven experience as a superintendent on commercial interiors projects
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site logistics
Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors in occupied and active environments
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of NYC construction practices and safety requirements
Hands-on, proactive, and highly organized approach to project delivery
