The Superintendent - Commercial/New Construction - Rockville, MD will be responsible for: Manage all on-site activities for ground-up commercial construction projects ranging from 20,000 to 60,000 square feet. The Superintendent - Commercial/New Construction - Rockville, MD will be responsible for:

• Manage all on-site activities for ground-up commercial construction projects ranging from 20,000 to 60,000 square feet.
• Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce project schedules to meet key milestones and deadlines.
• Lead jobsite safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.
• Monitor construction quality and ensure all work aligns with project plans, specifications, and owner expectations.
• Facilitate regular coordination meetings with subcontractors, ownership teams, and project stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize schedule impacts and cost overruns.
• Partner closely with Project Managers to maintain budgets and achieve project objectives.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates.
• Drive projects through completion, turnover, and closeout while maintaining strong client relationships.

A successful Superintendent - Commercial/New Construction - Rockville, MD should have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing commercial ground-up construction projects.
• Proven experience managing field operations on projects valued at $5M+.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, life safety systems, and building codes.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and managing project schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality control and jobsite safety.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
• Experience within retail, self-storage, automotive, grocery, education, public sector, or tenant improvement projects is a plus.

• Base salary of $100,000 - $140,000
