Job Description

The Superintendent will:

  • Manage day-to-day field operations under the direction of senior field leadership.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, work sequencing, and material deliveries to maintain project schedules.
  • Monitor quality standards and ensure all work aligns with project drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
  • Enforce jobsite safety requirements and actively participate in safety meetings and audits.
  • Maintain daily reports, manpower tracking, and schedule updates.
  • Support project inspections and coordinate the correction of deficiencies.
  • Assist with punch list completion and project closeout activities.
  • Communicate field progress, risks, and issues with project management and field leadership teams.
  • Mentor and support junior field personnel and trade foremen.
  • Take ownership of smaller projects as experience and performance allow.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • 5+ years of construction field experience.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing daily field activities.
  • Strong understanding of jobsite safety, quality control, and scheduling.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and trade partners.
  • Experience maintaining project documentation, logs, and reports.
