Superintendent

Our client has completed over 1000 projects in the state of Maine. Located in the greater Portland area, we cover the entirety of the state with both commercial and public projects. We are seeking a Superintendent for the greater Augusta region as we have a heavy pipeline of work for the foreseeable future in the area.

Job Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for:

Managing on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to maintain workflow efficiency.
Monitoring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Reviewing project plans and specifications to ensure proper execution of tasks.
Resolving any on-site issues or delays promptly to keep the project on track.
Conducting regular site inspections and progress meetings with stakeholders.
Maintaining accurate project documentation and reports.
Communicating effectively with clients to address concerns and provide updates.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

Experience with managing construction projects in the property industry.
Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Proven ability to lead and coordinate on-site teams and subcontractors.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
