An established construction and development business is seeking an experienced Superintendent with multifamily construction experience to oversee projects from initial site preparation through completion and final handover. This is an opportunity for a hands-on construction professional to lead site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and deliver high-quality projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

They are looking for a motivated Superintendent who takes ownership of site operations, maintains high construction standards, and works collaboratively with project management teams and trade partners to drive successful project delivery.

Description

• Oversee daily on-site construction activities for multifamily projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and site personnel to maintain project schedules and workflow.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement solutions to keep construction on track.
• Enforce site safety standards, OSHA requirements, and company safety procedures.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections and address deficiencies before project milestones and final handover.
• Maintain daily site reports, progress updates, and construction documentation.
• Work closely with project managers, developers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve site issues.
• Manage material deliveries, equipment requirements, and site logistics to maintain productivity.
• Oversee punch lists, inspections, and project closeout activities.

Profile

• Previous experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction, with multifamily project experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee subcontractors and manage day-to-day site operations.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, building methods, and project sequencing.
• Experience managing construction schedules, site logistics, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, inspection processes, and OSHA safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify construction issues and implement practical solutions under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with construction management software and daily reporting tools.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple site priorities.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to delivering quality projects on time and within budget.

Job Offer

• Salary: $90,000-$120,000, depending on experience.
