We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead the field operations of a large-scale podium multifamily development in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This individual will be responsible for driving project execution, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring the project is delivered on schedule and within budget.

Description

• Manage daily field operations for a large-scale ground-up podium multifamily construction project.
• Lead all site safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and consultants throughout all phases of construction.
• Develop and maintain detailed look-ahead schedules to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, architects, and ownership representatives.
• Conduct subcontractor meetings and coordinate sequencing activities between trades.
• Identify and resolve field issues that may impact project schedule, quality, or budget.
• Oversee site logistics, manpower planning, material deliveries, and equipment coordination.
• Perform quality control inspections and manage punch list completion.
• Track project progress and provide regular field reporting to project leadership.
• Ensure successful project commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities.
• Foster a positive jobsite culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and performance.

Profile

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on multifamily construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale podium multifamily developments.
• Strong understanding of structural concrete, podium construction, wood framing, exterior envelope systems, and interior finishes.
• Proven ability to manage projects from site development through final turnover.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and maintaining aggressive construction schedules.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, quality control processes, and project sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience utilizing construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with owners, consultants, and trade partners.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Stable employment history with a track record of successfully delivering multifamily projects.
