Superintendent - $75M/YR General Contractor

Design/Build general contractor is actively seeking a superintendent to join their team. This firm mainly specializes in the industrial and manufacturing construction sectors. In this role you will be running one project at a time alongside a skilled and dedicated project manager. All qualified applicants will receive a call in under 24 hours.

Client Details

Our client is a design/build contractor that has been serving greater Milwaukee for roughly 80 years. They have worked across different sectors over their history, but for years have been focused on the industrial and manufacturing markets. All their work is negotiated and mostly with clients they have been working with for years. They do about $75M per year in revenue.

Their superintendents oversee one site and their typical projects is $2M-$10M in value. Most project are additions or ground-up projects. They usually run projects in pairings between Project Managers and Superintendents without Project Engineers unless the projects is unusually large.

Description

• Oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and successful completion.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to meet project goals and requirements.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Communicate regularly with clients and provide project updates.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to maintain project timelines.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the construction department.

Profile

• 2+ years of lead superintendent experience on commercial construction projects
• Track record of leading projects valued at $2M+
• Experience with new construction or addition projects
• Strong client-facing skillset
• Knowledge of all relevant safety guidelines and procedures
• Industrial experience preferred but not required

Job Offer

• Base salary of $110,000 to $140,000 depdendent on qualifications
