SuperVet ® Job Description - Chief Veterinary Resources Officer- North American Operations
We are looking to align with a Senior veterinary individual to harmonize multiple laboratory animal medicine sites across the United States. Someone to stand up for what is right (Animal welfare), Protect the innocent (onboard new Veterinary Staff), Promote Justice for All (Harmonization of practices, policies, procedures, and protocols). A SuperVet ®, The Attending Veterinarian of all the Attending Veterinarians and a Champion of Animal Welfare
This role would be the Attending Veterinarian of all the Attending Veterinarians in the organization at multiple sites and would act as the Chief Veterinary Resources Officer for North American Operations including Research Services and Research Models.
Each of our research facilities across the organization has unique characteristics, challenges, and opportunities. Through the growth and acquisition strategy we are looking to harmonize areas of veterinary care, animal welfare, and to promote a culture of professional development and growth. The Chief Veterinary Resources Officer would bring into concert our sites across North America.
Areas for Harmonization:
This role would act in an advisory capacity and program development capacity to ensure the highest level of laboratory animal care and welfare across the organization now and as we continue to grow.

An Excellent written and verbal communicator who can equally relate to Veterinary Technical staff, Senior Board Members, Corporate Stakeholders, and External Clients
Looking for a solid veterinary leader who has shown proficiency in building a team of high performers and/or maintaining a high-performing team as evidenced by morbidity and mortality data.
Evidence of successfully balancing competing priorities
A strong understanding of the preclinical drug development process
Education
Ability to travel regularly and as needed to sites across North America.
