Job Description

Lead all day-to-day field operations on industrial construction projects. Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with Project Managers. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and self-perform crews. Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and project requirements. Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations across the jobsite. Conduct daily site inspections and proactively identify potential safety, quality, or scheduling concerns. Manage manpower, site logistics, equipment, and material deliveries. Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and daily planning activities. Monitor project progress and implement recovery plans when necessary. Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, safety logs, and quality records. Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders throughout construction. Oversee punch list completion, commissioning activities, and project closeout. Foster a positive, professional, and productive jobsite culture.

The Successful Applicant

7+ years of construction experience with a General Contractor. 3+ years of experience serving as a Superintendent or Lead Superintendent. Proven experience managing industrial construction projects, including manufacturing facilities, processing plants, warehouses, distribution centers, or similar industrial environments. Strong understanding of structural steel, concrete, mechanical systems, process utilities, and industrial construction methods. Experience managing large subcontractor teams and coordinating complex project schedules. Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and jobsite safety management. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules. Excellent communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills. Experience with Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Ability to lead projects ranging from several million dollars to large-scale industrial developments.
