The Position:
Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU) is seeking a dynamic, visionary, and experienced leader to serve as the Program Director to launch the Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) and Doctor of Healthcare Administration (DHA) degrees. The Program Director will provide strategic, academic, and administrative leadership for the programs, ensuring excellence in teaching, student success, curriculum innovation, and accreditation compliance.

This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic administrative educator and leader to drive the future of healthcare administration education at SCU. Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Medical Sciences, this role is responsible for designing a high-quality curriculum, successfully launching the program, and positioning Southern California University of Health Sciences as a recognized leader in healthcare administration education. The program is expected to be offered in a fully online format, maximizing access to high-quality distance education while meeting all applicable accreditation requirements.

The Program Director collaborates with university leadership, faculty, healthcare organizations, industry partners, and community stakeholders to ensure the program prepares graduates to lead healthcare organizations and improve healthcare delivery systems through evidence-based management practices and whole-person health principles.

Salary Range: The broad range is $120,000 to $135,000. This is a newly created position and, as such, compensation will reflect the individual’s depth of knowledge and experience.

This administrative position offers 100% remote flexibility and is targeted to begin September 8, 2026.
