Three Service Positions Available Job Description: Will be responsible for implementation of the Parents as Teachers curriculum through home visits and socializations. Must have the ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse education socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds and those with special needs. Prepare and maintain records and work case management accurately and in a timely manner. Have basic computer skills to include but not limited to word processing, emails an Internet usage. Participate in meetings, when necessary, to discuss individual children and for families being served. Must maintain confidentiality at all times. Provide families with connections an information on agencies and family assistance service beyond the scope of Early Head Start/Parents as Teachers. Be responsible for implementing Early Head Start/Parents as Teachers. Individual will participate in all necessary trainings, which at times will require traveling and overnight stay. Work nontraditional hours, and perform all other duties assigned. Individual needs to have the willingness to work with other Early Head Start staff and the Early Head Start Director. Individual will be required to report to the director on a weekly basis regarding status of paperwork, and other job-related activities. Individual will complete outlook calendar on a weekly basis. Individual will put needed family child notes and other information in Baby STEPS data tracking system. Will utilize Ready Rosie. Qualifications: Must be a High School graduate or a GED equivalent. Applicant must be PAT certified. Applicant must have or be willing to be certified in infant and child CPR\ First Aid and have or get a food handler permit. Have knowledge of basic computer skills. Applicant must pass a criminal background check. Applicant meeting qualifications for an aide preferred. Applicant must complete and pass a physical. Applicant must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to make home visits. Must have work experience in the EHS/PAT program. Work experiences with infants, toddlers, and prenatal.
