As a Summer Intern in our Technology Department, you will gain first-hand experience working in our Application Development, Cybersecurity, or Infrastructure/Platform teams. These teams enable our business operations by building secure systems and platforms that provide employees and customers visibility into, and automation across, one of America's largest transportation logistics networks.
In this role, you will have extensive contact with peers and interaction with senior leaders. You will have the opportunity to apply leadership, technical, and business skills to real-world projects while leveraging technologies and concepts such as software development, data networking, data science, and cybersecurity to solve problems and deliver value.
This is a full-time summer internship based in Omaha, Nebraska. This opportunity requires in-person work in Omaha during the summer months (mid-May through early August). Union Pacific provides relocation stipends and housing accommodations for qualified students living more than 65 miles from Omaha.
The estimated wage for this position is between $22 and $28 per hour. Final rate of pay will be based on several factors including year of study, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
