    Job Overview

    As a General Intern, you'll gain exposure to a variety of business activities and support projects based on the needs of your assigned team. This posting is intended to provide flexibility for internship opportunities that do not fit within a specific functional discipline.

    Depending on your team and assignment, you may support areas such as business operations, communications, project management, human resources, legal, environmental, strategy, administration, or other corporate and business functions.

    Throughout the internship, you'll have opportunities to develop professional skills, learn from experienced colleagues, collaborate across the organization, and contribute to work that supports the business.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities

    • Assists assigned department or team with projects, analyses, and business activities
    • Supports research, analysis, reporting, coordination, or other work based on team needs
    • Reviews and organizes information to identify trends, opportunities, and insights
    • Helps prepare reports, presentations, schedules, documentation, or other project materials
    • Collaborates with team members and business partners across the organization
    • Supports process improvement and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency or effectiveness
    • Contributes to special projects and initiatives that address real business needs
    • Uses data, technology, and problem-solving skills to support assigned work
    • Develops professional, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills through hands-on experience
    • Presents project work, findings, and recommendations to team members and leadership when applicable
    • Takes ownership of assigned work, asks thoughtful questions, and actively seeks opportunities to learn and contribute
    • Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    • Maintain active enrollment in a bachelor's degree or higher degree program
    • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
    • Ability to complete a minimum 10-week internship, beginning no later than June 1

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Pursuing a degree relevant to the assigned internship or business area
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to learn new systems, processes, and subject matter quickly
    • Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn
    • Ability to collaborate effectively while also taking ownership of individual responsibilities
    • Interest in gaining experience within a dynamic, complex business environment
