    Weaver Consultants Group is looking for undergraduate/graduate Civil and/or Environment Engineering majors to join our flourishing Fort Worth, Texas office! WCG prides itself on our people - A talented group of engineers, scientists, support staff and administrators who are as dedicated to client service as they are to their professional or technical discipline.

    As a summer intern with WCG, you will provide support to our technical staff and contribute to a broad variety of projects. We are seeking independent and highly self-motivated students to join our team!

    The Requirements:

    • Junior or senior standing by summer 2026
    • Working towards a bachelors or master's in civil engineering, environmental engineering, construction engineering, or similar major.
    • Good academic standing.

    The Skills:

    • The ability to obtain summer housing within the Fort Worth metroplex.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication.
    • Positive attitude and an impressive work ethic.
    • Ability to balance workloads and schedules for multiple projects concurrently.
    • Works well as an independent but accountable team member.
    • Prior exposure to AutoCAD/Civil 3D/ Excel/Word is encouraged but not mandatory.

    The Responsibilities:

    • Support various groups within the company that specialize in solid waste, landfill gas, site infrastructure, and air compliance.
    • Use of design software (Civil 3D) to develop grading plans.
    • Preparation of permit applications, permit modifications, technical reports, and CQA reports for federal, state, and local agencies.
    • Permitting and civil site design for Transfer Stations, Material Recycling Facilities, and Gas-To-Energy Plants.
    • Construction observation and documentation (field work, generally local, but some travel and overnight stays including weekends may be required).
    • Analyzing technical data and preparing technical reports.
