Responsibilities:
Demonstrated leadership skills in management of Food Service staff including:
Supervision of kitchen operation/prep/cooking for both breakfast and lunch
Scheduling workers
Record keeping skills, ordering, and daily accounting
Monitoring compliance with USDA, ISD#271, and City of Bloomington Health guidelines
Resourceful innovative approach to problem solving
Computer literacy with ability to learn the District's electronic food payment system
Demonstrated human relations skills and customer service in interacting with principal's, staff, students, and public
Demonstrated willingness to work with students of various social, economic, and culturally diverse backgrounds
Interest in working with students and parent groups
Professional interest and support of the MN School Food Service Association certification, classes, and workshops
Performs heavy cleaning and inventory of building food service area and equipment at the close of the school year
