Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations and be able to communicate food and product orders to Executive Chef. Perform closing procedures including equipment maintenance and shut off, cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.

Overview:

Sugarloaf Resort is looking for creative and motivated Prep Cooks to join our team this coming winter season. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality meals at our resort F&B locations and for various events and gatherings. This winter season role is anticipated to start at $20-24/hr depending upon experience and comes with great job perks.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare food according to food handling guidelines, cooking procedures, and follow any recipes.
• Prepare food ensuring quality taste and presentation.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations and be able to communicate food and product orders to Executive Chef.   
• Communicate and coordinate production with other cooks, wait staff and members of the food and beverage team.
• Perform closing procedures including equipment maintenance and shut off, cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
• Work with the team to complete other tasks as assigned.
• Possess knowledge and become familiar with all kitchen equipment.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be willing to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be at least 18 years old. Prior kitchen experience is preferred.
