Sugarloaf 45 North Breakfast Server Lead

The focus of this position is to work side by side with our AM team to lead and complete all food service-related tasks consistently, carefully, and systematically in a service friendly environment. Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.

Overview:

Sugarloaf is looking for an outgoing and dependable individual to join our team at 45 North as our Lead Breakfast Server for the coming winter season. The focus of this position is to work side by side with our AM team to lead and complete all food service-related tasks consistently, carefully, and systematically in a service friendly environment. Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet guests
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes 
• Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services 
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar 
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner 
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment  
• Monitor and observe guest dining experiences. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests 
• Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable) 
• Lead fellow servers as situations arise or as needed 
• Assist bus person with clearing and resetting tables as needed 

Qualifications:

• must be 18 years old
• must either possess ServSafe certification or be able to obtain certification upon hire
• must be available to work mornings
