What You’ll Do:
The Supervisor, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), performs biopsychosocial evaluations, as well as plans and provides treatment and case management for clients with substance use disorders (SUDs) and co-occurring disorders (CODs).
Key Performance Responsibilities:
- Conduct biopsychosocial evaluation, including participating in the development of diagnostic impressions for SUDs or Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT).
- Create treatment plans for SUDs and CODs, including initial, ongoing, continuity of care, discharge, and planning for relapse prevention.
- Make referrals.
- Service coordination and case management for SUDs and CODs.
- Provide counseling, therapy, and trauma informed care, with individuals, couples, families, and groups.
- Provide education for clients, family, and community.
- Timely completion of documentation (may include assessments, treatment plans, progress and group notes, discharge summary) according to established standards.
- Comply with professional and ethical responsibilities.
- Comply with supervisory responsibilities for a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Supervisor, or a trainee seeking certification, provided that the Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor has been approved as a supervisor by the Board.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a health and human services counseling field, with an emphasis on alcohol and drug studies, preferred.
- Current certification as an SUDP in the state in which services are provided.
Compensation for this role ranges from $38.54- $47.30 per hour depending on education, licensure and experience.
