SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS

Lorain County JVS is a Career and Technical Education Training Center. It consists of a public high school for students grades 9-12 and, the Adult Career Center which offers training and educational opportunities for adults.

$23.08 per hour

REPORTS TO:

HS Principal

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Verified five (5) years experience for vocational classes

Proven technology related skills.

Ability to multi-task in a changing environment

Team player - willingness to work effectively in a team environment

Desire to motivate and assist young people in setting educational, social and behavioral goals

Ability to work with students having a wide range of abilities and skill levels

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Sincere interest and commitment to work with students, parents, staff, businesses, and community organizations

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Verified previous teaching experience

Strong teaching related skills

Ability to develop curriculum, knowledge of instructional techniques
