ESS has partnered with the Bethany School District to place passionate Substitute Teachers in the classroom! We are currently looking for a dynatic Long-Term Substitute Special Education Resource Teacher to support the Bethany Community School starting immediately through the end of the 2026/2027 School Year!
When a teacher is absent, a qualified substitute is needed to carry out the educational program. As a long substitute teacher, you'll become an integral part of a school's educational team, amplifying your teaching expertise while maximizing the learning experience for students! . As a long-term substitute, you will be responsible to implementing provided lesson plans, grading/reporting, parent communication and classroom management. This position will have support from the Administration and Department Leads.
Primary responsibilities: providing IEP service, progress monitoring, testing, report writing, and presenting at PPT meetings and other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education. The position is part of a well-staffed related services and special education department. The ideal candidate will be able to meet mandated timelines and work collaboratively within a team to support student success.
