    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;

    2. Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.

    3. Experience working with children preferred.

    4. Flexible and able to adjust daily routine.

    5. Demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude.

    6. Ability to speak, read and understand the English language.

    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

    Substitutes are employed on an at-will basis and are not considered contractual employees.

    FEES:

    There is a fingerprinting fee (approximately $50.00) associated with this application process.

    SALARY:

    DEGREED

    $110.00/day (daily assignments)

    $145/day - $180/day (long-term assignments)

    ADDITIONAL APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    One positive professional reference required.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Responsible for implementing the District''s instructional program and educational philosophy in the subject area or grade level designated, in accordance with district policies, and procedures on a day to day basis.

    Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
