Substitute Special Education Aide:
Responsibilities
- Care for the physical needs of students with moderate to severe disabilities, including but not limited to students with autism, emotional disabilities, intellectual disabilities, orthopedic impairments, or multiple disabilities.
- Work under the direct supervision of a teacher or other professional supervisor
- Provide assistance to students in completing assigned projects
- Transport and accompany student to activities and physically participate as necessary
- May perform various record keeping tasks
Location
- Various Eastern Suffolk BOCES locations in Suffolk County
