Pay by qualification level

• Substitute Aide: $17.00 to $19.50 per hour
• Substitute Assistant Teacher: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
• Substitute Lead Teacher: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour

Pay is based on verified education and experience. Not sure where you qualify? We will help you figure it out.

How it works

• Choose the days you work and the centers you work in
• Minimum of 16 hours a week, which is two full weekdays
• Most shifts run a full 8 hour day, Monday through Friday
• Support children ages 6 weeks to 6 years in licensed childcare centers across the Twin Cities

We were built by people who have been in your shoes. Our founder spent more than two decades as a teacher, director, and childcare center owner before starting TFT.

What you need

• 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 25 miles
• Ability to pass a background check
• A smartphone with internet access
