    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substitute Nurse/Medical Support Specialist to provide temporary nursing services and medical support in various healthcare settings.     Responsibilities

    • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities.
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
    • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
    • Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care.
    • Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members as required.

    Requirements

    • Valid nursing license (LPN or RN) in the state of practice.
    • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
    • Previous nursing experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
    • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Willingness to work on short notice and adapt to varying schedules.
