Substitute Maintenance Worker

Substitute Maintenance Worker AS NEEDED

Schedule: Substitute/as needed; hours will vary

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform general building and grounds maintenance
• Assist with minor repairs, painting, mowing, weed eating, and landscaping
• Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and other materials
• Help maintain clean, safe, and orderly school facilities
• Assist with snow and ice removal when needed
• Respond to maintenance requests as directed
• Follow all school division safety procedures and policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• General knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and safe work practices
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working outdoors
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record preferred
• Must successfully complete all required background checks
