Anywhere between 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.Positions allocated to this class are assigned to assist a teacher, or specialist in providing academic, social and community based instruction and assistance to individuals or small groups of students with a wide range of significant disabilities including autism and/or intellectual disabilities. This position performs special duties relative to the needs of each special education student in addition to performing the regular duties typical of the Substitute Instructional Assistant (Classroom). This position serves as a Substitute Instructional Assistant to teachers. Full responsibility for appropriate instruction, training, curriculum materials and evaluation procedures remain with the teacher.
