Assist with food preparation duties such as cutting, peeling, and bagging. Serve students, staff, and peers in a friendly and efficient manner by serving on a food line, replenishing food as needed, cashiering, stocking supplies, and other duties as assigned.
Operates and/or utilizes various pieces of kitchen equipment such as ovens, stove tops, mixers, choppers, slicers, and dishwashers.
Maintains a clean and sanitary environment at all times by washing dishes, cleaning kitchen work and serving areas, and maintaining a garbage collection area while always adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
Adheres to food safety standards, including proper storage and handling of food to make sure that food is free of contaminants and pathogens that might cause illness.
Other duties as assigned by Food Services Director or Kitchen Manager.
