CLASSIFICATION VACANCY: Substitute Educational Assistant

LOCATION: BBHES, BBHMS, BBHHS

EFFECTIVE DATE: TBD

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday/5.25 hours per day

SALARY: $16.00 per hour

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED)
• Ohio Educational Aide Certificate
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or Board may find appropriate.

• Ability to work effectively with others
• Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
• Effective, active listening skills
• Organizational and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills and keyboarding skills
• Patience and understanding
• Ability to effectively complete the Job Description, Duties, and Responsibilities

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• First Aide
• CPI
