What You''ll Do

• Assist students as they safely board and exit the school bus.
• Support students during transportation by promoting safe and appropriate behavior.
• Assist students with special needs, including mobility, seating, and securement procedures as needed.
• Help ensure students remain safely seated while the bus is in motion.
• Communicate effectively with the bus driver regarding student needs or concerns.
• Respond calmly and appropriately during emergencies by following district safety procedures.
• Foster a welcoming, respectful, and positive environment for all students.

• Patient, caring, and dependable.
• Attentive to student safety at all times.
• Comfortable working with children of various ages and abilities.
• Able to communicate effectively with students, parents, drivers, and school staff.
• A reliable team player who enjoys making a positive difference each day.
• Physically able to assist students with boarding, exiting, and mobility needs as required.

Previous experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is helpful, but not required. We provide the training and support needed to help you succeed.
