These include lunch and recess monitors, classroom aides and working with our special needs students in their ABLE classrooms. Positions range from 2.5 to 7.5 hours per day. It is on an as needed basis and you can work when you are available. All Substitute Aides are required to be licensed by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) with an Educational Aide Permit. We can assist you with this process. The cost for the Educational Aide permit is $28.50.These positions will be on an as needed basis. Assignments will come from Frontline Absence Management. Employment is contingent upon the results of an FBI & BCI fingerprinting background check and the cost for that is $55.00. Rate of pay for 2026-2027 will be $16.16 per hour.The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District. In addition, the employee shall be free of any substance, prescribed or otherwise, that impairs the employee's work performance or the safety of others while on duty.
