Our clients is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor in the Baltimore area.
Must be licensed in Maryland as ADT or CAC-AD or CSC-AD

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
- Facilitate behavioral health treatment groups. Email Office Manager attendance after each group.
- Provide individual sessions for clients on a case-by-case basis when clients need extra support.
- Complete Biopsychosocial assessments and all documentation pertaining to it.
- Document client attendance, group topic, and client participation in file after each group. Complete documentation within 24 hours of services provided.
- Document any other contact with client or case management done, such as individual sessions or outside referrals.
- Complete all discharge paperwork within seven days of the date of discharge.
- Address urinalysis or breathalyzer results with clients as needed and record results in Electronic Health Record (EHR) and on monthly reports.
- Review and update treatment plans in compliance with timeframes set by ADI policy.
- Provide person-centered treatment which tailors treatment to each client's individual needs.
- Provide culturally competent treatment and case management.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Maryland license as a CAC-AD; or CSC-AD; with the State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists.
- Previous experience in counseling, social work, or other related field.
