What You'll Do:
**The candidate can be located in any ECS established location within the Mid-Atlantic Subsidiary.**
The Accounting Manager plays a key role in providing financial and performance reporting to the subsidiary management team while supporting various accounting functions across the organization. This position ensures smooth financial operations by assisting new hires and administrators with system navigation in Dynamics, ExFlow, and ECS360 Collections, addressing inquiries related to vendors, payments, collections, and reporting.
Standard Responsibilities
- Provide financial and performance reporting and updates to the subsidiary management team
- Provide ongoing support to new hires post-training in Dynamics, ExFlow, and ECS360 Collections assisting trained administrators, new users, and management with system navigation and frontline inquiries related to vendors, payments, collections, and reporting
- Responsible for client payment postings and reconciliation through the use of Wells Fargo Integrated Receivables and Dynamics
- Conduct orphan payment searches and resolve outstanding payment issues
- Provide follow-up assistance for newly trained administrative staff on accounting functions
- Offer temporary coverage for Office Administrators (OAs) during PTO, long-term leave, or office transitions
- Support the AMP document upload process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
- Assist in tracking and reporting aged receivables at the subsidiary level utilizing both Dynamics and ECS360 reporting
- Other duties as assigned
Other responsibilities may include:
IT Support:
- Serve as the primary liaison between subsidiaries and IT for security compliance initiatives and issue resolution
- Coordinate cybersecurity efforts at the subsidiary level, ensuring local offices meet corporate security standards
- Act as the go-to administrator for subsidiary IT issues, working directly with corporate IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve concerns
- Support IT with project communication, implementation, and follow-ups
- Assist in the asset tracking and deployment of IT equipment at subsidiary offices
What We're Looking For:
Responsibilities
- 8 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and related experience
- If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver’s license is required
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and organized
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with computers and excel spreadsheets
- Working knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax, and banking
- A team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of GL posting
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Company experience in accounting, IT, and administrative support within a corporate or multi-location environment.
- Understanding of corporate functions and operations.
- Proficiency in Dynamics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across different departments.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with corporate and subsidiary objectives.
- Availability during core working hours.
The expected pay range for this role and location is $80k - $100k/year. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
