ABOUT THE ROLE
The Subcontracts Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for service contracts (e.g. EPC, O&M, engineering). You will lead supplier selection, competitive sourcing events, negotiations, contract development, and supplier relationship management to achieve cost, quality, risk, and performance objectives. The Supply Chain Manager, Subcontracts serves as the strategic owner of assigned categories and partners closely with business leaders to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
WHAT YOU''LL DO
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business, finance, engineering, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, contract management, or related, including;
Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy.
Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.
Skills/Attributes:
Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies that align supplier capabilities with business objectives, operational requirements, and market conditions.
Ability to lead supplier evaluations, competitive sourcing events, and contract negotiations that deliver value and support long-term business needs.
Ability to analyze market trends, pricing dynamics, and supplier capabilities to support strategic sourcing decisions.
Ability to build and manage strategic supplier relationships that improve performance, service delivery, and overall business outcomes.
Ability to assess and mitigate commercial, operational, and supply chain risks while supporting organizational objectives.
Demonstrated ability to lead highly effective teams, both internally and externally.
Self-motivated to work through complex problems and competing priorities, including a high level of detail and organization.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Travel: 10%
