This role will offer you the following daily challenges:

In this role, you''ll be a Subcontract Manager, mainly responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) portfolio. You will be accountable for managing subcontracts throughout their entire life cycle - starting from proposal phases, through execution, full delivery of the work product, and into closeout.

You will play a critical part in developing and executing contractual relationships with our supplier base as well as internal Lockheed Martin Stakeholders. Each day will be unique as you serve as the face of the Subcontract Management Team, solving complex supplier performance issues and driving strategic initiatives for your hardware portfolio. You''ll have a lasting impact on our bottom line by controlling costs through negotiations.

Candidates must comply to purchasing policies, procedures, and program requirements.

Basic Qualifications

To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e… Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, Contracts, and/or Category Management)
• Previous experience with DoW procurement processes and regulations (FAR, DFAR, TINA, and or ITAR)
• Knowledge of SAP, PO Folders, procedures, or other ERP system
• Experience with managing suppliers, including management of Cost, Technical, Schedule, Risk and Opportunities
• Must be open to occasional travel, up to ~50% to support Program and/or Supplier visits
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoW SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Desired Skills

To be effective, ideally, you should also have:

• Active Secret Clearance
• Ability to lead activities to execute Supply Chain subcontracts and sourcing activities in an executing capacity as a Purchasing agent/Buyer/Subcontract Administrator/Manager
• Demonstrated subcontract experience to include development of RFP''s, complex statements of Work, proposal evaluation criteria, and source selection criteria
• Previous LM Space experience
• Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships
• Independent self-starter with a sense of urgency and strong ownership of work
• Attention to detail
• Proven record of proactive engagement and communication with internal and external customers
• Excellent organizational skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to interface with suppliers and customers
• Well versed in FAR/DFAR and LM Acquisition procedures
• Ability to multi task in a dynamic environment
• Demonstrated strategic communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders with an ability to persuade and motivate action

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $100200.00 - $186200.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
