Roles and Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Aerospace, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical field from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 8–10 years of systems engineering, controls engineering, embedded software, or technical/project leadership experience in a highly technical engineering environment, preferably in avionics, embedded systems, or safety-critical aerospace applications.
Demonstrated experience leading or supporting development of complex avionics, embedded control systems, or integrated hardware/software systems.
Demonstrated experience working in programs governed by aerospace development and certification processes, including DO-178C; experience with DAL A programs strongly preferred.
Experience leading cross-functional teams in environments requiring strong coordination among systems, software, verification, certification, and program management.
Experience with Earned Value and Activity Based Management methods.

Strong understanding of DO-178C objectives, certification lifecycle artifacts, verification expectations, traceability, configuration management, and change control, especially for DAL A software-intensive systems.
Familiarity with related certification and development standards such as ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-254, and systems/software integration practices.
Demonstrated success in engineering execution and business management.
Strong ability to partner across matrixed organizations and drive alignment among engineering, program, business, and customer stakeholders.
Visible, hands-on leadership style with high standards for accountability, quality, and technical rigor.
Financial and budget planning knowledge.
Proven ability to define product solutions that meet customer needs and deliver strong end-user value.
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale projects or programs in systems engineering, controls, or embedded avionics development.

The base pay range for this position is $130,000.00 - $173,000.00 USD Annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 08/31/26.
