The Buildings and Grounds Department for Bloomington Public Schools pulls from this posting multiple times throughout the year to hire base custodians Hires happen on an as-needed basis. The post expires at the end of each school year and re-opens in time for the next school year. Please submit your application. As a position opens, you will be contacted for an interview.

Position:

Base Custodian (On-going/As-Needed)

Hours:

8 Hours per day

5 days a week

261 days - 12 months

Requirements:

• Clean and maintain areas of school building such as sweeping, emptying waste baskets, mopping, vacuuming, minor repairs.
• Setting and take downs of events as needed.
• Prompt, regular and reliable attendance
• Able to lift 60 lbs
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Demonstrate written and verbal skills
• Other duties as assigned
