Job Responsibilities
- Safely transport students along assigned routes.
- Monitor students and help ensure their safety and well-being during each trip.
- Assist students with getting in and out of the van.
- Communicate with school staff, parents, and students in a professional and respectful manner.
- Report behavioral concerns and any issues that may affect student safety.
- Follow emergency evacuation procedures when necessary.
- Use a mobile app for daily routes and job-related tasks.
- Keep the vehicle clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- At least 3 years of driving experience in Connecticut.
- Valid driver's license with the required Connecticut V endorsement.
- Good verbal communication skills in English.
- Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
- Available for early morning routes.
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to student safety and professional conduct.
