    Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Maintain and organize confidential student financial files in accordance with FERPA requirements.
    • Create and organize new student financial aid and financial files.
    • Assist with filing, purging, scanning, and approved shredding of confidential records.
    • Assist with student account statement mailings and other student communications.
    • Prepare labels, forms, graduation materials, orientation packets, and exit interview packets.
    • Assist with registration activities, including distributing and collecting student forms and information.
    • Keep student forms and office materials stocked.
    • Assist students and staff with obtaining necessary information and documents.
    • Provide general clerical support and assist with special projects as assigned.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality of all student information and records.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 with no history of academic probation.
    • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems and processes.
    • Typing speed of approximately 30-40 words per minute with minimal errors.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, follow directions, and maintain confidentiality.
    • Ability to understand and comply with FERPA and College policies and procedures.
    • Ability to stand, bend, and use standard office equipment as needed.

    Work is performed in a professional, climate-controlled office environment.
