Position Title Student Worker: Creative Content Assistant Job Duties

The Student Creative Content Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the creation and producing of creative content for Butler athletics. Primary duties include, capturing photo and video content, editing photos, editing videos and creating both short and long form video content. This position will also assist the Director of Sports Information & Operations with generating content ideas and social media strategies. The Student Creative Content Assistant will primarily function at home sporting events but may have some opportunities to travel

Qualifications

Required knowledge and skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro and After Effects).
• Able to establish and maintain productive work relationships with staff and students.
• Able to work independently to complete assignments neatly and accurately with little supervision.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student & customer information.
• Ability to complete assignments around tight deadlines.

Required experience

• General office environment
• Attendance at home athletic events. Could be exposed to possible hot and cold outdoor temperatures, rain, snow.
• Some experience with Sony and/or Canon cameras
• Some knowledge or background in Adobe Creative Cloud software

Required educational background

Current Butler student.
