FWS Concessions Assistant Position

Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:

This position is for a Concessions Assistant at the Pratt Recreation Center. This position is responsible for providing a clean, safe & welcoming environment for all patrons. The Concessions Assistant works closely with the other Concessions Assistants, the Concessions Supervisor and the Director of Campus Recreation. The responsibilities of this position include serving food and drinks, following and enforcing food safety protocols and managing all equipment to ensure equipment and food areas are sanitized, organized, and operating properly.

Responsibilities:

\u25cf Handle and serve food and drinks to customers.

\u25cf Ensure the concession stand remains clean and sanitary.

\u25cf Utilize a POS system for sales.

\u25cf Adhere to Long Island University policies.

\u25cf Act in a professional manner by upholding LIU Policy when involved in conflict management with patrons, students, & staff.

\u25cf Perform opening/closing procedures of the concession stand.

\u25cf Display a positive and enthusiastic attitude for all patrons.

Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience:

\u25cf Interest or field of study related to management.

\u25cf Experience with serving food.

\u25cf Flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, are required to execute the position's role responsibly
