The Student Support Specialist is a full-time, non-classified, exempt position that is supervised by the College Program Director. Specialists are responsible for providing academic, social, and independent living support to college students enrolled in the center's College Program for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Salary Range 38,000-50,000 - Salary is Commensurate with education and experience Salary Type Salary Time Type Full-Time Work Location MU - Marshall University

Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
Required Qualifications
Education
A bachelor's degree in a human or social services discipline is required.
Experience
Professional or personal experience supporting individuals living with Autism Spectrum Disorder is preferred. Familiarity with university systems of student support is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Education
A master's degree in a human or social service is preferred.
