    Luther Burbank School District is a unique, one-school Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade district located in the heart of midtown San Jose, California. The district proudly serves approximately 400 students from the local neighborhood and surrounding communities, fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment. We seek dedicated and resourceful educators and support staff who are committed to inspiring and empowering students while supporting their growth in mind, body, and spirit. Under the direction of the Superintendent-Principal or designee, the Student Supervision & Activities Lead coordinates campus supervision systems and develops engaging student activities that promote a safe, inclusive, and positive school culture. This position organizes structured recess and lunchtime activities, student leadership opportunities, clubs, assemblies, yearbook, school events, and other enrichment programs while supporting positive student behavior and connectedness. The role collaborates closely with administrators, teachers, yard supervisors, and Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) staff to ensure effective campus supervision, student engagement, and successful implementation of student programs. Additional responsibilities include coordinating supervision schedules, maintaining records and communications, and providing administrative support for ELOP and student services. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and passionate about creating meaningful opportunities that help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. (8-hour workday with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break).
