Student Success Coordinator 

Schedule: Part-Time, Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM–7:00 PM, occasional weekends
Compensation: $26 - $28/hour DOE
Location: EPATT Campus, East Palo Alto | In-Person

Position Summary


EPATT is seeking a data-driven, highly organized Student Success Coordinator to manage daily operations of the ACES middle school program and track the metrics that show students are growing. This role owns attendance, engagement data, operations, programming, and family communication.

Key Responsibilities


Data & Student Outcomes

  • Maintain accurate attendance, participation, and engagement records.
  • Track and report on student academic growth indicators (grades, standardized test scores, study skills, SEL milestones, and college/career ideation activities).
  • Identify trends and flag students falling behind academically, in attendance, or in engagement.
  • Deliver regular data summaries to the ACES team to inform intervention.

Program Operations, Programming, and Engagement

  • Run a structured, efficient daily schedule that keeps students moving between tutoring, tennis, homework support, and enrichment with minimal downtime and maximum results.
  • Create engaging lessons and programming activities that help students develop their study skills, motivation, engagement, and high school preparation.
  • Coordinate logistics with tutors, TEMs, tennis staff, and other EPATT personnel.
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues quickly.
  • Coordinate enriching and motivating extracurricular activities monthly or quarterly.  

Family Communication & Enrollment

  • Communicate with parents/caregivers on attendance, schedules, and events.
  • Process new and returning family registration and enrollment.
  • Follow up on absences and disengagement.

Volunteers & Outreach

  • Onboard volunteers and match them to appropriate students/staff.
  • Represent ACES at school and community events, including recruitment and registration tables.

Measures of Success


  • Measurable student academic growth: grade improvement and standardized test score gains.
  • Measurable growth in student study skills.
  • Measurable growth in student social-emotional development.
  • Documented growth in student college and career ideation and high school readiness.
  • Qualified students are prepared for and admitted to local independent schools.

Qualifications


  • Experience working with youth, families, schools, or community programs preferred.
  • Goal-driven, highly organized, and motivated.
  • Engaging, creative, and team-oriented.
  • Proficient with basic data entry, tracking, and reporting.
  • Comfortable with family communication across phone, text, email, and in person.
  • Comfortable representing EPATT at community events.
  • Spanish/English bilingual strongly preferred.
  • Must pass required background checks and clearances.
  • College diploma or in progress preferred
